Tire Separation

I guess the burning question is, (if you want to say) what tires do you
have? Manuf, size, pressue, age??
We want to know if we are at risk?

- --------------------------------------------
To answer the burnig question. The tire was a Bridgestone 16.5. In
researching the answer to this question I discovered that the tire was D
Range. YES, I've been following the tire thread on D Range verses E Range
and plan to go to an E Range tire. Tire pressure was 62 lbs, cold.

As for the age, the gentlemen whom I purchased the coach from said the tires
were a couple of years old. The tread was like new but without disclosing my
complete stupidity, the age of the tire most likely had an enfluence on the
tire separation.

Needless to say, anyone who has recently purchased a coach should check the
DOT tire mark. If the manufacture date is older than 6 years, replace the
tire, regardless of how good the tread looks.
