Tire rotation

Although I watch the balance, since I haven't noticed any difference in wear
pattern on any of my tires, I don't worry about rotating. Even @ 10,000 +
miles per year that I'm putting on the coach, they'll time out before there
is a tread problem.

My daughter's Land Rover says NO to tire rotation on 4WD vehicles.

I can't see any point in rotating tires if balance and alignment stay in
synch. I didn't rotate my Bridgestone D rated tires for the 45k mile (4.5
yrs) they lasted and they were worn evenly.

To my way of thinking it is like taking an aspirin for a headache without
determining the cause. The headache is now masked by the asprin. Rotate
tires and you hide the problem wheel. I realize this goes counter to mfgr
recomendations and many of the "wrenches" on the Net but I have been
known to follow a different drummer.
