Has anyone considered fabbing liners for the rear wheel well cavity in case
of catastrophic rear tire failure at high speed? Kevlar or whatever...
just wondering,
There's been some horrific damage posts re rear tire blowouts on SOBs and
the damage they caused on other RV related lists.

As always, best regards.

I considered kevlar and other aramid type products and decided it wasn't
worth the effort. When I looked at pictures of damage, it looked like tire
pieces wrapped around the edge and outside, hitting the T-skirts, so that a
liner would provide some protection but not enough.

Any alternative views on blowout damage?
