It even more amazing when people read only the parts of the reports they
like and conveniently forget the rest.
The report further stated, at worse case conditions the GMC motorhome front
tires can exceed 3000# loading each! An E rated all steel tire is only rated
for 3250# when inflated to 80 PSI COLD. At 65 PSI it will not handle either
the load or the side loading caused by the front driving wheels
Why do you guys keep this up?
We have the same comments surface every few months and always with the same
conclusions, and with the same persons trying to legitimize their position.
If you want to run 65 PSI do it, but don't give others the impression that
it is good practice. IT IS NOT! The GMC motorhome requires all steel E
rated radial tires inflated to a minimum of 80 PSI cold. Why? because both
General Motors adn Cinnabar engineering says so and thats good enough for me.
>OK. The weight rating on your tires is based on full inflation as stamped
on the tire. My 'E' rated tires are for 3250 #'s. I am running 65 psi which
is very nice for me. I know I
>am losing some weight rating but like the feel of 65 psi. Darren
Good luck.
