Did any one really see the tire brand that was posted in the recall. ???

Gary,
The only thing I can find is on Gene's site and it is a letter from General
Tire (Letterhead and signatures) pertaining to their tires. The proponents
seem to think this should be extrapolated to apply to all tires. My guess is
that Cinnabar may have some written stuff they would stand behind. Other
than that there seems to be a lot of emotion attached to the story.
