Everyone else may already be doing this, but as it was new to me I thought
I'd pass it on.

When changing oil filter, fill it with oil before installing. It saves the
whatever seconds of running dryish waiting for the filter to fill up.
Probably has some merit as it takes a touch longer to see oil pressure when
filter is new.

Could be an old wives tale or myth :-)

All hitched up and finally ready to go.... ( thought I'd better do an oil
change on generator before starting to abuse it).

It is probably the right thing to do and should do if your coach is on a
lift. I have enough trouble trying to squeeze under the coach with an
empty filter in my hand let alone a full one.

Maybe I can put a cork in it or fill it after I get it under the coach. I
am not big and I find it tough getting under the coach even when on jack
stands.
