tie rod end- number check

Before I head on down to drop off $ 52.11 at the local auto supplier,
is the correct part number for the right outer tie rod end: Moog
ES412RL.

Please excuse me for not getting back sooner. The GMC MHI Parts
Interchange Index does not list anything for the outer tie rod (Spring 98
edition). If this is a good number, how about re-posting so we can
up-date our index.

I got the number from the Interchange book of GMCMI but I don't
know what edition.
The part number is Moog ES 412 RL
It is a slightly different shape than the original, so counting the
threads doesn't apply. You'll have to put weight on the wheel and
turn until the new one will fit in the hole. It will be almost all the
way in so don't think you've got the wrong one.
Prices ranged (US) from wait a week and pay $42 or get it today
from another supplier for $52.11 .

Waiting for the skin to grow back on my knuckles...
