GMCnetters,
Well, the shafts, knuckles and hubs came out from under my GMC today
despite the Georgia heat. I've already spelled out all the scary stuff
I found in another thread. The disassembly process went well. The only
casualty was the right side tie rod end(I tried to use a puller instead
of a pickle fork - dumb!). Looking at these 25 year old parts, I think
I'd be better off buying a tie rod assembly instead of just replacing
the end. Any ideas of a good source for these, or should I just call
Cinnabar?
Gonna' do the ball joints and 80mm caliper upgrade while I'm in there.
Anything else I should be looking for?
Thanks!
Patrick
