John's remark on the A/C, heater blower is a good use. It's success depends how long you used that motor after the motor noise started. Also works great on your original roof A/c blower motor. About every 3 years. I lube every motor I have around the house. Even the combustion chamber draft inducer blower motor on our 96% house furnace. That motor doesn't have an oil port. But lubing the shaft works. Last New Years Eve. A friends draft motor quit. We were below 0 that night. I lubed the shaft. Worked. Saved him about $350.
