Gene,
In the alignment shop, Charly Mattson is the chief wizard. He has about 43
years in the business and he has one sweet shop and the help/expertiese to
go with it.
Frank, the owner/founder is the one that owned GMC's previously. He now has
the big beasty shown on the new hoist. (For Sale BTW as he has a new one
coming).
With ref to the pipe, I havn't been under the coach since I got home. That's
on tomorrows schedule. I did not hear any banging/clanging/vibration on the
1k trip home though.
2 hangers (rods) were welded onto the pipe just behind the mufflers. I think
that's it as far as hangers or contact with frame other than the muffler
grommets.
The gentleman that's making sure the muffler shop runs smoothly... his name
is Bob.
We'll see how it goes with time... BTW, the business has been around since
1962.
