I can not believe that we adults (most of us over 50 years of ago) have
learned so little in our lifetime.

We have not learned that someone as direct and opinionated as Tom Warner has
a wealth of information to provide if we are only willing to listen without
prejudging his intentions.

We have not learned that Arch has a lot to contribute based on his personal
experiences and "myths" based on a lifetime of experiences.

We have not learned that Scott has tried to help all of us at his own
expense and in a moment of frustration has said enough is enough.

We have not learned that it is the people with limited insight and loud
voices that say they represent the non vocal majority.

I, as one of this majority, want to thank Tom, Arch, Scott and all the rest
of you that make this forum the success that it is. I also want to thank
Patrick for providing the medium to allow this exchange of ideas.

Flame wars are for idiots, heated discussions are for people who are sincere
in their beliefs and in search of the truth.

I hope reason reigns,ignorance dies and this forum lives.

I will agree totally.
After the parking light sale I was just about as frustated as Scott and Tom.
It was a lot of work and hassle, but I will probably do it again. Two reasons
to view it as a hassle - 1) It cut into my real work 2) It cut into working on
the GMC. But that is not to say I will not do something like that again.
