We now have 4 positive and 3 maybes on the list. This makes a possible 8
counting myself. If there are 2 or 3 more people interested we would
maybe have enough to get the 315 for about $110.00 each. I am going to
call Thomas in the morning and find out for sure if the 315 will do the
job and what they will do for us if it doesn't. The only problem with
all of this, is if any of you want to go the four bag system neither the
315 nor the 317 will put out 165 # pressure. I will keep you all
informed. Darren

Darren;

That requirement of 165# for the four bag system is new to me. If so, I
guess I would pass on the Thomas as I am thinking of going to the 4 bagger
soon. Are you sure about the 165# - seems high for the Dana to be able to
handle.

I would prefer to go the 317 route as I plan on using a larger hot dog air
tank to be able to run an occasional air tool for work on the road. Can we
mix the order and if the cost is at the 100 to 150 level I will get at least
2 of the 317 if they work with the 4 bagger system.

Marcus:

Don't you believe it. It's a bunch of hooey!!!!

There's no such pressure requirement for the four-air bag system. It
operates similarly to the original system. According to my instrument panel
dual air pressure gauge, I run 120 psi in mine in the travel position.

Need help on this one. What is the required pressure on the 4 bag system?

If I recall correctly... or rather that's what mine is set to as per Leigh's
instructions: 135# on the cut-off.

#120 is about normal operating range on mine though I recall someone
mentioning #100. Perhaps I carry too much junk in my coach. ( Not perhaps...
I surely do :-)

Anyways... I would guess that the 135 is needed if you want to raise the
coach for leveling.
