We leave Friday on a 7,000 mile round trip from Santa Barbara to Boston.
We're a tan 26' Royale with no stripes (but pretty) and usually monitor the
trucker's channel. We'll be eastbound on I70,76,84 etc. from 9/13 thru 9/24
and westbound on I80,76,70 &15 from 10/10 'til the 20th.

All the terrific information I've gotten thru this group has given us the
confidence in the old girl's ability to make the trip.

I'll hopefully be able to give a "glowing testimony" when I get back on the
net in mid October.

Thanks again for all your help.

Dave

What are your interests?
What is your schedule?
What part of the state are you traveling to?
CA is 1100+ miles long with many sub-regions. In fact a recent Dept of
Tourism advertising campaign was all about "Which California do you want
to visit?"

Hey Guy,

We are planning to go to Calif. in January. We are completely
in the dark as
to where to go etc. We are located in New Jersey

Keep us informed.

Tahoe; Eldorao Hill out from Tahoe; S thru the Rockies All Nat'l parks into
AZ. The trick is to get to AZ ASAP. When you see the Grand Canyon go to
Flagstaff turn S. and take off on 89A (your brakes better be excellent or
better) and drop down into Oak Creek Canyon. That's as good as it gets for
me - paradise. I'm not kidding about the brakes: any doubt got down 17 to
Camp Verde and back track to Sadona.
