Thanks Russell. I remember that switch. Great idea. So I went to Iowa Radio. The switch that they had was from GC Electronics. Part number35-086. Has ON- OFF- momentary ON. SPDT. Very well made, NOT from China. They also had a screw on rubber cover for that switch. As my switch is behind the license plate with all my water, and electrical hookups. Russell. Great input. The GC Electronics switch 35-086 is only rated at 6 Amps @ 125VAC, so its DC rating will even be lower. Use it to power a 30-40 Amp cube relay as Ken
Burton suggested. Otherwise the DC current will act like an arc welder every time you switch it off, leading to an early failure.
