With a bit of apprehension, we ordered "Brand A" wheels
from Gateway, remembering the past problems of netters
with Gateway's distribution of non-Alcoa accessories with
the Alcoa wheels. They arrived last week and everthing
was absolutely genuine Alcoa product. They were drop
shipped from "Auto Wheel & Rim Service Co., Inc." of
Evansville, IN and delivery was about one week ARO.
The direct and implicit influence of the GMCNet folks
probably had much to do with Gateway's decision to
sell the real McCoy instead of the knock-off imitiations of
"Brand A" ascessories. Our thanks to those who forged the
way and applied the heat.
BTW, the caps on the lug nuts protrude 1 3/4" beyond the
surface of the wheel.
