The best stuff for soaking bolts is Kroil penetrating oil. Stuff really works!

I'll second that! I'd never heard of Kroil before hearing of it on this
list. Best bolt assist I have ever used. My dad had a bunch of tricks from
being a navalaviation mechanic. This stuff saved me tons of time and the
hassle of some of his tricks. (Still use them once in a while though).
