Lots of times we had up to 15 people in line to come into the open house. Was a big hit at the show. They've asked me back for the 2017 Nov event. With the 67 Yenko, and GMC. I'm not into car shows much. And not real interested in having my cars judged. But I thought it would be interesting in having my 69 Goodyear Yenko judged at one of the big national show event. There it was. My race car in amongst all these cars that never even get started. Let alone get driven. I hadn't detailed the inside for 16 years. It had grass everywhere from some of my. Lets just call them. Agricultural tours off track at very high speeds over 80 mph. Cleaned it all day Friday. Ended up with 959 points out of 1000. That put it in the gold award leave. That was an honor. As this isn't a Wal-Mart show.

959 and it wasn't detailed? Congrats, you showed a true winner.

Great times.

I am not big into getting cars judged as well, however have found the best place to view a car show, is by parking right in the middle of it. The
GMC makes the perfect car show vehicle. Last one I was at, I had plenty of people coming over to look at my far from perfect coach, for interest,
and another group Happy to hang out because under the awning was the only piece of shade at the show.

Thanks for doing your part.

I have the GMCMI show boards, a banner, and handouts if anyone wants to use them. These items can make your display a hit. So contact Kim. Or one of the GMCMI board members to have me send this stuff out. After the awards handout. The head judge said I did a fair job with the detailing I did. And that it was the extreme quality of the car that got the gold award. And that he couldn't fathom what I did with this Yenko.

Kudos, Bob!

I gave 5-7 'tours' of the Royale at the last Sunshine Statesmen rally. This time, none of the lookers were even vaguely familiar with GMC's at all.
Also, most were under 50. That's a change from the past year or two, where many at least recognized it as the Barbie motorhome. What drew the most
attention was the bogies, as I have the quad bags still exposed. One couple passed by in their golf cart 3 times before the guy couldn't stand it any
more and stopped to ask.

I have "PR Kit" on my to-do list. One or more of the clubs have templates, IIRC. Link?
