Got these in the mail last week as the cost of admission to our international organization...GMCMI.

GMC Motorhome Parts Exchange
Publication Article Index
Membership Roster
"The Black List" (GMC Assist List)
Pre-Travel Checklist
GMC Vintage RVing

The Vintage RVing is published 4 times per year. An EXCELLENT publication put together by our Executive Director Kim Weeks.

All of this for $40/year. Wortht the price of admission!

Well worth it, at twice the price, in my opinion. Information that you can
trust to be accurate, this time and every time.

Agreed! I don't know how we can get so much from GMCMI for so little --
We certainly would not except for the efforts of Kim Weeks. Personally, I
think it's past time for a dues AND salary increase!

The two esteemed gentlemen above always have good advice, but this time they left out something.

In sixteen travel seasons and about seventy thousand miles, I have had difficulty on the road that required parts more than a few times and had to be
assisted to get back underway twice. Very early in my ownership, I discovered the "Black's" list and between that and the parts book, we were still
able to get the damaged coach back home.

I always have my laptop with me and that has both of the above stored. We have twice lost the use of said laptops. The last incident, it was
unreliable, but kept up just enough to get us home. I always carry the printed copy of the manuals and the parts book, I never printed the GMC
Assist list before, but that will be in the library now.

In our travels and even not travels, we have been both sides of the GMC Assist List, and it was rewarding both ways.

Yes, I am a little (OK seriously) paranoid, but I am old too. Think about that. I have had things go wrong, very wrong....
But if you are ready to deal with it, things can be managed. (Like sitting in your coach because the house has no power and no internet access.)
