Thanks for the tip on Saturday morning on the steering shaft boot
replacement. My steering shaft was so tight I had to tap it apart with a
drift. REALLY dirty and scuffed up too on the blue Teflon area (as you
mentioned). I soaked the female part in Hydroseal to get the 25 year old
crust out and lightly sanded the spines to get it to move freely. The dust
shield was about shot but I managed to salvage it with a dab of RTV. Cleaned
and lubed everything up and it looks like it will be fine now. Thanks again
