Two weeks ago I posted some questions about a GMC I was looking at. Many of
you responded and Thanks to all, especially those with advice on the
headliner.
I would especially like to thank Dave Posey. When I asked about clearance
problems I might have with a steep driveway, Dave called and offered to
"test drive" my driveway. We did it this morning and I am happy to report
that while clearance is tight (a little scraping of the tail pipe, hitch and
bumper), it will take the driveway (air bags full inflated). Unfortunately,
it was raining and he had a problem with slipping on the asphalt and could
not get up. But, that's fixable with a different sealer, and most of the
use will be in the summer when rain is not a problem.
Again, my thanks to all. The GMCNet is truly a wonderful resource to have.
