I have read all the posts and am thankful that somebody remembers the
veterans, and those that went to fight in WWII, or to Korea, or to Vietnam,
or or or. We are called on to do more, go to more places, and sometimes we
wonder why. I don't know why I went to vietnam, except that I was told it
was because if the North won in vietnam, then they would go to cambodia, and
then who knows. Now, after all these years, I still feel that we came back
with our tails between our legs. I was treated like a leper, not as a
returning hero.
Well, that is my .02c. I wonder why we dont do mor to recognize and support
those who gave and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. It was great to
read that our GMC family does care.
sorry...
