GMCnetters,
A byproduct of hosting GMCnet has been that my GMC site is becoming more
technical in nature. Deciding that it's better to go with the flow than
fight the Darwinian process, I've recently added a "Technical
Information" page to gmcmotorhome.com. In addition, as a tribute to all
his hard work, I've added a "Commordore's Cruiser" section detailing
Arch's renovation of his 1976 Glenbrook. Gene Fisher has recently sent
some articles in; the first, installing a TACHVAC gauge, is already up.
I'd like to solicit contributions from the rest of you. Those of you
that already have sites documenting your work(such as Heinz's), I'd like
to link to those pages from the "Tech" section. If you don't have
access to a web page, you can either email or snailmail your submissions
to me. Since the web is a graphic medium, pictures are important. Your
submissions can either be jpegs or you can snailmail photos to me for
scanning(please indicate if you want your photos returned).
We spend a lot of time on GMCnet trying to explain different tech
procedures and upgrades. This will be a great place to send someone for
an explanation. Gene has made some good suggestions for organizing this
info and I'm open to others.
Thanks,
Patrick
