I also purchased the 'Turbo City' TBI Injection system while in Myrtle
Beach. I'll be interested (and I think there's general interest) in your
experiance with this kit. Please keep us up to date and how difficult it
was to mount the different senders and exhaust pipe O2 Sensor. Thx......th

Dear GMC Net,
All this talk about TBI Injection systems has raised a few questions in my mind.

1) Can these systems be installed by a reasonably competent parts changer (me)
with a standard complaint of tools?
2) What is the ball park cost involved in an installation?
I assume they are worth the time and effort.
Thanks,

For me the Howell efi system was $1200. Considering the cost of a redo of the carb
at about $500=600, I thought reasonable. I had to have a couple of bungs welded
in. One for the return tuel and on on the exhaust. Since I had it in to Osburn's
for a checkup I had him do the install. Cant remember how much, wut it was about
$250-300. Anyway, it looked like something I could have done except for the
welding.
