A few years ago some folks were installing later model van tail light assemblies. What year(s) and/or model are the tail lights/

The ones you want fit 85 to 96 Chevy full size vans. There is a left side and right side. They are marked on the inside of the lens. Some say rh and lh and some have a number inside. You can do an eBay search and you will find the numbers.

When you convert I found it best to cut away part of the base plate so the new lens with its back intact would fit into the cut out area. There are three “bolts” that look more like rivets. Some suggest grinding them off but I found the quickest thing is to use a small hole saw that fits over them in a drill motor and cut around them.

I endorse Emery's method of using the whole unit as it will avoid rain
leaks and brighter reflections.
I believe we have an instruction on installation on our web site under
instructions.
For those that do not want to look for several parts needed and a New
assembly with light sockets and SS long screws and installation instruction.

I seem to recall someone posting (maybe Bdub’s site?), about using the Cadillac Escalade front headlights and rear lights, which updated the look of the Tranzmode? Although, I think there might’ve been some extra work involved? Anyone recollect this mod?
