As to your oil additive, regardless of all the hype you read or view and
all peoples beliefs, most are considered "band aid" treatments at best.
In other words, it never fixes the problem.

I don't have anything against synthetic oil per se, but unless you have
a relatively fresh engine, you won't either want to or be able to afford
going synthetic in the coach engine. It will either leak or burn just
as fast, if not quicker, as regular oil will. Here again you'll see all
manor of protestations and testimonials. Reminds me of people who use
premium gasoline vs. unleaded, when the engine does not ping with
unleaded. It's been proven time and again that it is a waste of money
in spite of, again, all the testimonials (runs cooler, get better
mileage, etc., etc.) to the contrary.

My engine is strong (When I bought it I was told the engine was rebuilt =
about 5k prior but it had one burned valve from having a car carburator) =
and I had a valve job done. I'm only using Syntec and Prolong to =
provide some protection against a catastrophe if there is a loss of all =
oil and to maybe provide a cooler running engine with a bit more power. =
I talked to Osburn in Albuquerque and he said that he has had engines =
come in with no oil but that had an oil aditive that protected the =
engine and he said the engine amazingly was OK.

I appreciate your comments on the ball valve and will look to shore the =
line up to prevent the problem you pointed out. Thanks.

Use oil West of the Mississippi or Saudi. Q St, PA etc East of Miss; bad,
gums engines bad base. And, ring blow-by is the same for syn oil. Solution;
use good light sweet crude. TX is good.
