Switches By The Door

Hi All,

I have a 75 Elaganza II. I am redoing the headliner and want to install some
LED lighting at the same time. As you open the door on the left hand side
there is a bank of 4 switches. Outside light, floor light, galley light and
water pump. The all work except the galley light.
I was thinking of using this switch for my lights that I will be installing.

Where does that galley light go to ? I haven't pulled out all the old
headliner yet so maybe I will find out then. The back side of the switch
is is sealed up but I guess I could try and pull the switch asmy out and
just run a new wire up for my lights.

Hi Bob
The light above the sink area is the gallery light. It has a switch that has three positions. The center position is off. To one side the light comes on. To the other side it allows the switch by the door to operate it.
Try that and see if the door switch now works. It the light doesn’t work in any position suspect the bulb.

Emery,
The light above the sink is hot all the time. I'm sure once I
take that cabinet down over the sink I will find the wiring from
that galley switch.

Also going to move the 110V wiring from across the front just behind
the drivers seat to go over from one side to the other around where
the fridge is as where it goes over the rib it will be hid by
the cabinet and the fridge.

Also does anyone know where to get the strip that holds the headliner
up that goes from one side to the other? Mine are gone both my 75 and
73 and it looks like a nice way to hold up the headliner.

The light controlled by the switch by the door
is at the bottom of the sink area cabinets, just
above the floor.
