I would like to change the sway bar bushings on my motorhome and I can
assure you the people at the auto parts store have not the slightest
idea what I am talking about. Is there a chance some one out there has
already been down this road and would share the part numbers with me??
Thanks

Got mine from JCWhitney. They're Prothane polyurethane bushings with
the brackets(you can reuse the old brackets, but you'll need to modify
either the bushings or the brackets) for 1 1/8 inch sway bars. You
should probably replace the end link bushings while you're at it. I
don't have the details here at work, but I can look them up if you don't
have a JCW catalog handy.

Terry,
You want to order the ProThane polyurethane bushings with brackets for 1
1/8" sway bar which is the stock size. Part number 74V8535Y for 9.95
for the set. I have these on my GMC and you will feel the difference in
ride. Took about an hour and a half to complete the job. The end link
bushings in polyurethane are part number 85VR9769R for the 5/8" x 1"
bushing set. JCWhitney can be reached at 312-431-6102 and you can have
your pieces early next week.

You can also order a complete kit of the poly bushings from Gateway.

Replacing the bushings is something I would like to do. Can anyone tell me how difficult a
job it is to do? I'm a pretty good "Shade Tree Mechanic" and we have access to a ramp next
door that gives me full access to the underside of the coach while standing up.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll tackle this project this spring.
