Supporting Engine From The Bottom

I remember seeing a picture of a device that someone made to hold the engine up. I was a horse shoe shaped wood setup that they used to jack up the
engine from the bottom.

I was trying to find my bookmark but I can't find it and I was going to do something similar to raise the engine an inch or two.

The comment was that you do NOT want to dent the oil pan so this pushed up on the edge of the pan against the block.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
