My Suburban NT-22 furnace was given its last rites by the local shop.
Valve is shot and stripped and combustion chamber is rusted through.
Parts not available from manufacturer or from repair shops aftermarket
sources. I think I would prefer an electronic ignition system.
1) Is it worth tracking down parts for this baby?
2) If not, does anyone want the corpse?
3) What should I replace the thing with? Is the NT-24SP the way to go,
or is another unit more appropriate? I recall some discussion on the
baffle that makes it conform to the outside wall.
