Larry,

Unfortunately, we have learned a lot about plumbing the GMC.
First try to track down the leak by taking out the cabinet under the
sink.
It is held in by 6 screws - two on each end, one about mid- way on
the
top left side and the other about mid-way on the bottom right side.
Turn
on the water and observe. If you don't find it there, then do what
someone else suggested by taking off the right side of your
medicine
cabinet. On ours there is a small mirror there now, but when we
got it
there were lights on the sides. Anyway there is a hole behind the
lights
that you can get to the upper part of the shower connector and feel
for
leaks. If that does not work, under the bed (on ours) on the shower
wall
there is an access door or panel. Take it off and feel the floor. If the
you find it wet, but did not find the leak in the upper part of the
shower
you will have to remove that wall to work on it. It does slide out, but
you have ABOUT eight LONG screws along the hall way, around
two screws in
the upper cabinet, and you may have to remove the bottom
cabinet. You
will also have to disconnect the thermostat (two wires). Once the
screws
are removed and the thermostat disconnected, the wall will slide
(with
some work) into the hallway. You can take it completely out if
needed.
This will totally expose the pipe leading to the shower head as well
as
the fill pipe for the toilet.

The first winter that we had our GMC, we went through about 5
broken pipes. We also discovered many repairs from previous
winters. That Spring, we replaced all of the plumbing from the
bathroom to the water tank with PVC pipes. We have found it to
be durable, a lot easier to work on, and less prone to freezing. (Of
course we have now learned how to winterize!)

Hope this helps.
