You might like to try placing dual wheels on front of GMC for limited
application. Our wheels are from a Chevy Dually & will fit for front
duallies. Don't laugh...any port in a storm. One of our California
GMCers took a trip to Belize/Mexico & use the front dually concept many
times to get thru/out of sand & mud conditions....it really works. He
carried two spares anyway for his trip.

Great idea! Thanx for the info. Sounds like an easy solution for a big
problem.

Thats what I will do. Mount them back to back on spare. Dang! Now I will
have even more weight in rear lol. Where can I find another steel wheel?
Can I just use a chevy 16.5?
