Hi
I'm new to the list. A fellow list member suggested I subscribe since I
might find some answers.
I live in Canada and have seen what looks like a GMC motorhome . . . .
but this one is 37 feet long.
The builder plate says it was done in 1986 by Hughes Coach Works in
Orangeville Ontario.
Would any of you know if a Canadian coach builder was licenced to copy
the GMC design or if they perhaps made a knock-off.
This rig has a 454 GMC block, duals with a tag axel and air suspension.
The entire hull is fibreglass and looks very similar to the pictures I
have seen of the GMC on the web site.
So far I have not been able to determine if it is front or rear wheel drive.
I seem to remember that back in the mid 70's people were talking about the
Hughes/GMC motor homes as if they were one and the same.
