strange switches

It gets better=85.

Now after I removed both side panels, insulated the sides, replaced the
paneling behind the couch/bunks I found a 2nd pin switch in the entry door,
with one brown wire that goes thru the floor, under the coach and is cut
off.

There is a rather nice on/off switch in the wall aft of the 2nd dinette sea=
t
that has one wire going to the bat terminal in the fuse box. The other wir=
e
goes to the aux terminal in the fuse box. Any idea what the PO had in mind=
?

It could be that they either had an alarm on the door or they might =20
have had an electric step at one time.

Many of us crazy folks do strange things. I have a second door switch
mounted about
2 inches below the original one. When I open the door I have 4 lights that
come on, I can
see everything in the front of the coach. JWID

I wired up the switch on the dinette wall, the one that has the leads going
to the Bat and Aux terminals in the fuse box.

It seems to mimic the Aux position of the key, all the usual dash lights
came on, the fan came on, etc.

The radio was not affected, I can turn it on and off without the key in the
ignition.

Really weird....

You are right he was just too casual. When I tried that I ended up with my
260 stripped to the bare ribs - and I still haven't gotten it back together.
