Heinz we have no way of knowing what the intention or purpose of that
individual report was. I am still looking for a SCIENTIFIC report that I
had of oil filters. I read an awful amount of material and sometimes can
not remember where I read it or when. Anyone else have that problem? I have
looked for it on the internet and can't find it, so maybe it is in one of my
magazines?
End result was that FRAM was the best filter they tested by a wide margin.
Several others were excellent also. There are several neglected issues
involved that bothered me about the supposed test that was posted here.
1. No flow rate information
2. No particulated filter size in microns
3. to much emphasis on valve leaking which is not important
I use FRAM filters almost exclusively. Never had a problem with them in
over 30 years.
I for one am now pursuing this further. We will get to the bottom of it fast.
