Accidentally caught shirt on strip just back of door.
What sort of goo to use to put it back on that so
I can remove that strip later if I wish (for some
unknown reason)?

I use heavy duty Permatex weatherstrip seal. It is available at most auto parts stores. It hold much better that regular weatherstrip glue and dries quickly. It can be removed if necessary.

Double tape will hold it, get a strong one designed for exterior though

3M UHB should hold no problem
