When replacing vinyl steering wheel wrap many pieces of grip surface
went with it--down to metal on 1/4th. Any suggestions as to what GM
cars have a steering wheel that will replace it? For 77 Palm Beach with
tilt. In addition need two wheel covers, any of the GMnet in latest
Alcoa group purchase have some for sale? New owner-3 weeks TIA

Here is what Bob McCarthy previously had to say on the subject (maybe Gene

Subject: GMC: Steering Wheels

Steering wheels come from front wheel drive Olds from 1982
to about 1990. About that time on some models they began to add air bags,
cruse controls etc.
Wheels in good condition are becoming very hard to find
Wheels from this period from Buick and Pontiac will fit ,but for us they
lack the Olds emblem.

Jim Bounds sells new ones. jimbounds

Both of these are a direct fit and have two spokes lower in the wheel to
give a better view of your gauges.
