The standard passenger side GMC mirror can be easily modified by taping on a
mirror replacement from Pep Boys for $16. Mirror replacement was from a
minivan.
The replacement glass is rotated 90 degrees and tapes on over the exiting
mirror. It fills the entire space except for very small slit on the side and
5/8" on the top when the glass rest against the rubber on the bottom. The
result is that the "objects appear closer than they are" now read up and
your have a complete panoramic view, both horizontal and vertical.
What an improvement over the standard flat mirror and a smaller panoramic
