I called StatPower today, but on the return call our power went out... and
so did our phones.
Will be on it again tomorrow.
Slightly off subject/topic:
We've had more than our share of windstorms this year and of course the
power outages that go with it.
I had thought once before about putting in a 12volt bank of batteries with a
wind generator. (Usually plenty of wind when the power is out). Solar no
good as outages are usually at night.
Anyone have any ideas, experiences with windpower (on a backyard scale).
If so, your comments appreciated (direct email please so as not to clutter
the list with off-topic stuff)
