Rick,

Since you have the wiring diagram handy, give Gary the path for the
"energizing" wire from the key switch down to the solenoid. Could be a
bad key switch. Need to check for 12vdc when you turn the key.

Whoops! That's the problem with not having the diagram in front of me!
A little knowledge... )

One other problem common to these beasts is a bad ground, but you
usually will at least get a "click" when you turn the key.
