Stainless Steel Brake Lines - Help!

I need some help from you GMCnetters that have already installed the
Classic Tubes SS brake lines. The front was easy enough, but the rear
has really got me puzzled. The rear crossover on my GMC was between the
frame crossmember and the floor. It appears that on the Classic Tubes
lines, the line from the combi valve runs along the left side frame rail
past the bogie mount and then turns along the frame cross-member in
front of the waste tank. Then a tee branches this line to each side.
Problem is, I can't get mine to fit. Did any of you have to hand bend
the lines or do any surgery on the floor plywood to get this to work?
It looks like I need to cut away part of the cushion(and possibly some
plywood) on top of the frame rail to get them to fit.

It's been a while...

I do recall that the rear cross over line was in 2 pieces instead of the
original 1.

Basically the line went aft on the left to a tee near the left wheels/tee, a
shorty going to the left tee and 2 pieces to make it to the right tee
(instead of the original 1 piece).

I'm going to see ig I can get under there to take fresh peek.

Well, I'm terrible at ascii art, but here's what I have(sounds about the
same as yours):

combi
valve
|
|
|
|
| _____________ right
|___|tee side
left ______|
side

Problem is, the lines won't fit as currently bent and I'm a little
concerned how much "tweaking" they'll stand.

Patrick,

Unfortunately I didn't build my pit long enough (lesson for all... do at
least 20 feet instead of my 16).

And since I can't start it at the moment I can't get a close look. I do
recall some fiddling was involved, but no cutting. There was basicall a
straight piece and a shorty that had the bends in it to get to the right tee

If no other (better) answers I'll get under there later on to look at it
directly. Let me know.

Yup, looks the same.

I don't recall any heavy tweeking, i.e. no real bending... but it could be
that it was so terrible that the brain just wants block it out
