In these parts, crows tend to be a problem with crops. In the
old days they shot one and hung 'em up for the rest to take notice.
This was reportedly so effective I was about to try the same in my
classroom, but found a plethora of local ordinances preventing
same. Perhaps a drave of scurrying municipal squirrels could prove
helpful with erradication methods. However, if yours are like ours,
the suggestion for pecan protection would be to cut down the tree !
