Greetings all,

Jerry, glad to hear you got the trans out. Very best getting the new one
up and in there.

On the subject of engine hatch cover clearance, has anyone found an
especially
good solution to buffer the front of the hatch as it fits the floor?
Mine sqeaks
like crazy at idle and I just wondered who has already dealt with this.

Just got the Royale back from Ken Frey and thru the Maryland inspection.

The coach is riding VERY lighly in the wallet area but I am looking
forward to
trying to evaluate the repairs and improvements.

Looking forward to seeing some of the local owners out at Three Seasons
in
Rehobeth this weekend.

David

Congratulations on getting through Maryland Inspection. I understand the
light wallet. Glad you are going to Rehobeth. You'll like our gang, but
I'm not sure about them yankees. I'm not sure about our making it over
there, a lot of things have suddenly been dumped in our lap. Stay excited

George, I solved the squeek problem along with the "What do I do with the hatch
cover"
problem. I cut about two inches off the front of my hatch cover and installed
that permanently at the front of the hole. Then I got a piano hinge and hinged
the rest of the hatch cover to that. I then fashioned a permanent arm to hold up
the open hatch cover, much on the same order as the ones that hold up the front
covers. Works like a charm.
