Frank,
Easy way w/conventional harmonic balancer puller to remove spindles.
Remove four 3/8" bolts from spindle, tap two diagonally opposed control
arm holes w/ 7/16"-14 tap from the back side of the control arm.
Bolt up the harmonic balancer puller to the back side of the control
arm, apply pressure to the puller, while tapping back and forth on the
spindle, taking great care not to strike a critical surface.
The spindle will slowly work its way out.
This method was given to me by Jim Bounds, and I have used it
successfully, my thanks to Jim and I hope it works for you.
