Source for switch

I see those rocker switches used all the time. I have some in my airplane. I have see them available in the past at hamfests, Radio Shack, and
Auto zone to name a few. They are available with internal light and I thing LED light. The only problem right now is I do not know where to get
white ones.

What are they being used for in your picture and what connection terminal type is on the back.

As an example here are 4 of them that are 12 volt red lighted 16 amp ones.

Thanks for the link, Ken.

I am after the original 12V switches used in my '73 to turn on the water
pump, or some lights in the front. At least the look original, as they
are identical to a picture in the operating manual.

I can find *similar* ones everywhere, but I can't seem to locate these
original ones. I try to keep things homogeneous looking where I can.

Peer,
I googled "white rocker switch 12v" and found the following on the first page:

https://ca.mouser.com/Mobile/Electromechanical/Switches/Rocker-Switches/_/N-5g2q

That link is for Mouser Canada. Their USA website may have more selection.

Using Mouser's search filters, you should find something close.

Below is the link to a Mouser data sheet for a switch resembling what you want.

Thanks Les.

Those are much closer than anything I have found so far.

Peer I assume they don't work?
Those are extremely simple, you can likely take them apart and clean the contact with some high grit sandpaper and reassemble and they will work fine.

You know what they say about assumptions :-D

They work just fine. I just need some more for additional stuff I want
to switch on and off. And would love the originals.

Ok, so you want WHITE switches to be used at 12 VDC with a reasonable 10 to 15
amp rating. I'll look in the used switch selection in the airport parts drawers
and also my home junk box selection. I seem to remember some white ones but
I'm not sure.

How many do you need?

They look like Studebaker switches. 1964, etc.
I have some here if you need them. But I do not have the panel for them.

I have a number of those switches in my shop, but that is 2200 miles away.

It would be late April 2018 before I get close to them.

I went through my personal junk box stock at home today and did not find what you need.
I did not make it to the airport today to go through their stuff. We do not throw
anything away there. Maybe I'll find some tomorrow.
