In my JC Whitney catalog #638J-05, on page 101, it says the lights have a
paintable ABS plastic base. How does ABS plastic stand up to sunlight/UV rays??

JC Whitney has a 5 pack of running lights - both amber and red for $20.99.

Just got 2 sets for my coach. They are identical to those you see at
Wal-mart but cheaper and come with 5 lights, switch, wire and connectors.

Have a photo of the pack on my photopiont site, in the re-construction
album.

Paul,

I've got two sets of these. Before I install, I plan to scuff the plastic
with some 600 grit sandpaper and shoot with white enamel to take care of the
UV. I like 'em cause they come with ground wires on the sockets -
simplifies installation on fiberglass.
