Finally got the solaire out after many bruised knuckles and lots of kicking
and cursing. It was missing many screws and someone had obviously taken it
out sometime in the distant past and put it in wrong. I really dont know
how they could have gotten it in. No matter what I did it would just not
slide out the sink side like the manual says. Decided that since it is not
in the best of shape now is the time to replace it along with the other pile
of parts I have to install before Februay 10th.

Need some experiences of those that have replaced the furnace of their
coach. What did you install suburban or hydroflame and why. How easy was
it to install. Did anyone buy the suburban bottom venting system? I want to
install and outside servicing door to it. Anyone do that? Where did you buy
the furnace. I noticed in my old notes that Cinnabar has a surburban made
specifically for the GMC that fits the curve of the outside wall perfectly?
Anyone used it?

Camping World has what appears to be a fantastic buy on the 30,000 BTU
suburban furnace for $436.30. Good or bad?

Thanks for any help.

The Hydro-flame is an easy install. It can even sit on the angle to match the
wall. Total exterior servicing. Everything comes out the installation opening.
I like it. Darren

Tom-
I installed a Hydro-Flame and it works great. Bought it from JWW, about $525..
It is not as tall as the OEM so it is easy to install. By design, all service is
from the outside new access panel. The outside curvature of the coach does not
interfere with the new outside panel if you carefully select the position of the
"box". If interested I'll send you pix privately (or to Gene and he can post
them?)

Gary I already chicened out and ordered the suburban from cinnabar for $525.
I am pressed for time and need to get it installed pronto. The suburban
comes with complete directions, and a kit made especially for the GMC. Hope
it works out OK.

Thanks for your help though.
