One of these days if I can get the co Piloy to agree I am removing my old
Duo Therm and when I do it is history un less someone speaks up.

It works fine I just prefer to use the little (quieter) ceramic cubes.
Since I rarely go where it is really cold and seldom dry camp anymore, I
don't need it!

I'm glad this thread (about the cubes) surfaced again. It struck me that
since the GMC does, after all, have wheels and moves, why not, like fish
moving about in a lake, simply seek whatever your personal "ideal"
temperature/climate happens to be. I was born and raised in Cleveland.
Been South for over 30 years and LOVE watching the winters up there on CNN. :-)
Furnace? We don't need no stinking furnace! Couple of cubes ought to take
off any early morning chill wherever I happen to park.
Piping propane into an enclosed, vibration prone space always has scared me.
Years ago, had an SOB. We were camped somewhere in Tennessee during a cold
snap and the furnace kicked on. I thank God that I slept on on of the lower
racks. At 3 in the morning, I awoke to tbe hot breath and the whining of my
100# Yellow Lab/lap dog on my face. Upon awakening, the odor of LP gas was
unmistakable. SOMEHOW a union in the LP line had opened enough to let gas
into the cabin. Had my dog not awakened me, I'm convinced that I would not
be writing this. My wife and 3 young kids -- and that great dog -- would be
buried somewhere.
The cubes are sounding better all the time.
