I don't know if any of you have ever been snowmobiling before, if not
you're missing a great thrill.
Retired people are a large part of this sport.
My GMC makes a great snowmobile headquarters.

Anyway, the national park service has recommended that snowmobiles be
BANNED from ALL national parks!
What's next?

I may be way off base here, but if they could somehow find a way to make
those snow mobiles (and their summer counter part, the jet ski) a bit
quieter, maybe this type of regulatory pain in the butt wouldn't be popping
up to frequently.

I was in Yellowstone just a month ago, and was out snowshoeing. It was
noisier than mid-town NY when those snow mobiles went by. As they disturbed
the peace for miles around, I confess to wishing they weren't there. Same
thing in the summer where 2 or 3 jet ski's can disturb the peace for miles
around.

Just a thought.
