Gene,
I was at a house warming last night and talking to an old friend, Al
Carlson. He has a machine shop business here in San Diego, Carlson &
Beauloye. We got on the subject of GMC's when I inquired about them
modifying some Eldo knuckles to accept the larger GMC ball joint and
also if they could metal spray and remachine worn ones to OEM specs.
(Where the hub bearings usually spin when they seize.)
Ron knew a guy who lived in Spring Valley/Casa De Oro who had a green
GMC and his name was Gene Fischer. You?? BTW, also, from where they
live they can look up and see another GMC but don't know who the owner
is. Chuck Aulgur?
I wont be answering up too soon as I leave this AM for minnesota. I'll
be back in a couple of weeks but wife will be saving my off- line email.
