Someone wanted these photos. Can't find that e-mail. Let my know if anyone is interested. Below tells how to do it.

The photo on the left shows were the adhesive was. First drill out the pop rivet at the bottom. Then start heating at the bottom. ( The panel removed has no burned marks on it. ) Next use a stiff putty knife lightly to assist the pulling of the panel. Took about 2 hours to get both sides off. The right photo shows one of the removed panels in front of the Mouse House panel that I need to replace. I used this same method to remove body panels on the Mouse House as I widened the entry door by 7". I too had been told that removing these panels without breaking them was impossible many times. I was in the USMC. And ( can't be done ) never has set with me. Bob Dunahugh 78 GMC

Just an FYI that this panel can be salvaged from a downer GMC if you have a tire blow.Never thought that this body panel could be removed without breaking it. Simple, and about an hour. Next I need to salvage the frame. That's the original paint on the frame of my burned coach. Bob D

I sent the e-mail bellow out to some people that had interest in seeing the photo's. Photos were included in that case. But again I had to remove photos here. Bob Dunahugh

I had sent this out to the EFI group. As there you can send photo's out. Yes it's an EFI site. But off topic things are sent. And many see both sites. Many have said the body panels are impossible to save. May have something to do with the year GMC. I don't know. But I got it done on 3, 78's. Bob Dunahugh
